Known as “The Perfect Mountain Town” it is a Victorian-style mining town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. It has five huge peaks with more than a thousand hectares for skiing, five parks, four tracks for stunts, two high-speed lifts for six passengers, a ski and snowboard school for children. Off the slopes, fun abounds: snowshoeing, snowmobiling, mining tours, ice skating, sledding, and countless cultural activities. During the winter months, it usually has a wide variety of festivals, live music and some of the most important competitions on the mountain in the world of skiing.
